Members and friends of the PRBA have been invited to a weekend of fun with glider/balloon flight swaps with the members of the Trent Valley Gliding Club AND entry to the NE Lincs Aviation Heritage Open Day at Hibaldstow Aerodrome.
We will be based at the gliding club (The Airfield, Kirton In Lindsey, North Lincolnshire DN21 4GG) and will be able to camp for FREE.
On Sunday (the Aviation Heritage Day), we have been asked to go along in the hope that we are able to put our balloons up to be a part of the whole picture of aviation, we are, afterall, the oldest (successful) form of flying man choose to create.
We haven't had a balloon meet in this area for a long number of years so come along and take advantage of a bargain weekend.
(Plus, its the weekend before the biennial exodus to Metz, so come and purge your tanks!)

Balloon Entry Fee:
Pilot Declaration - I confirm that all paperwork including, but not limited to, insurance; certificate of airworthiness; CAA licence; medical; in respect of the balloon & pilot(s) named above are valid and that the above balloon and associated equipment are properly maintained and updated for the purpose of flying and/or tethering at this event. (Please ensure all relevant documents are available at the meet for inspection). I have read 'British Balloon and Airship Club -- Code of Conduct for Farmers and Pilots (April 2009)' and agree to abide by this during the event. I agree to pay all charges for gas cylinders both used and part used.
