| Armed Forces Celebration and Fund-raiser |
We were invited back to Cleethorpes for the Armed Forces weekend celebrations - Cleethorpes postponed their event so it didn't clash with the national event which was held this year in Liverpool the weekend before.

There was LOTS going on in this little seaside town over the weekend with parades, shows, fireworks, night glow with the bottom end, the BBMF fly past and a good old social weekend.
We had free camping in a secure site (we're VIP's you know!) next to the miniature railway, and the site is just perfect for balloons.
It was just too windy to get the balloon up so we entertained the crowd with a basket and burner display, showing off the incredible power of our burners and inviting people to come close for a look at it all. We even had the envelope out on the ground for people to look and feel.
At last we feel like we have been able to show Cleethorpes some of what we do! |
