| Barry Newman RIP |
We were very saddened to hear that the amazing Mr Barry Newman passed away this week.
The following is a post from Cie on Barry's Facebook page:
It is with great sadness, I have to inform family and friends that Barry sadly passed away yesterday after a battle that lasted over 13 years with cancer. I have lost my husband, best friend and soulmate of 61 years. Karen and mark have lost their dad who was so proud of them, Morgan and Eleanor have lost their grandad who loved them both with a passion.
Funeral arrangements will be announced on a later date.

For all of us who were lucky enough to have known Barry, I am sure that we all have amazing stories to recount from the tales he told - from welding upsidedown suspended from a crane, to Morris Dancing - and yes, everything in between.
He will be very much missed. Here he is in the photo with a couple of friends.
RIP Barry, you were a true superstar. |
