Driffield Report
The PRBA meet at Driffield was a small but friendly affair (being the same weekend as Bristol). The invitation came as usual via Dave Allum from the East Riding Engine Club who organise the Steam gathering.
All 4 balloons registered were able to take advantage of the slot on Friday evening, a most enjoyable calm flyout from the main arena after several days of somewhat less suitable conditions. The Driffield chippy was then hit in anger.

The next morning was a bonus. The forecast didn't look wonderful the previous day, but the same 4 were rewarded with a second slot. That was to be it for the weekend though, as the conditions deteriorated once again, which prevented the traditional arena glow. Instead, we glowed Malc's barbeque, and cremated an old fan prop of Terry's as well as the burgers.

Thanks to all who attended and/or helped out in any way. Phil.
