Hello and welcome to our website.

Please take some time to click your way around, you should find some interesting bits and pieces, along with useful information about hot air ballooning.

If you have an interest in hot air balloons - whether you would like to learn to fly and become a balloon pilot, or help a team by crewing, or just want to see balloons up close, then we would be more than happy to welcome you along to one of our meets; have a look under 'balloon events' on the left hand menu to find where we will be flying. (It may not be a bad idea to check the weather forecast before setting out, we won't be flying if it is wet and/or windy!)

Our club covers quite a large area in the North East of England: from the Pennines on the western side to the North Sea coast on the east: from the southern end of our region drawn by an imaginary line between Sheffield and the River Humber (plus a little bit further) and then all the way north to the Scottish border.

You can also find us on Facebook and also on Twitter

We are not the only regional club in the UK, we have lots of partner clubs, so if you are interested in other regions of the UK, please pay a visit to the British Balloon and Airship Club website, click on this link: www.bbac.org

Please do come and say hello at one of our balloon meets, we're a friendly bunch!
