| Our Hot Air Balloon Meets - everyone welcome! |
Our club meets are not restricted to club members, everyone is welcome.
There isn't a charge to attend our meets either, with or without a balloon, there may be a small charge towards overnight stays in tents/caravans and motorhomes and this will be specified on the entry form. These need to be booked in advance please.
The closing date for entries is usually the Friday/Saturday prior to the meet to allow us to finalise the details with the site. However, if you have left it too late and the deadline has passed by, don't worry, just get in touch and we will try to fit you in.

What's this? The White Horse in May?
Yes, that's right! The venue is so popular that we could only book for May in and around all the other event there, and balloon events around the country.
Same venue as usual. Thirsk Racecourse horsebox park, off Newsham Road.
This is one of the longest running meets in our calendar, (2024 will be our 25th visit!) and we have great pleasure in inviting everyone along to take part in the fun and friendly rivalry with the pilots trying their luck to win the White Horse trophy.
The trophy is currently with Alex Smith, on the right side of the Pennines so come on Yorkshire pilots, let's keep it at home this year too! Even so, Lancashire pilots are still welcome.........as is everyone.
As before, we have the usual well-drained camping and launch area.

2024 is the 11th Henge Hoppers meet and it is at a great venue. Canada Fields caravan park, Yafforth, nr Northallerton.
Pilots are invited to compete for the fabulous Henge Hoppers trophy with a new twist on the challenge - the closest to land on a 1km circumference away from the centre henge of the three Thornborough Henges will be the winner.

| Autumn Gold Meet |

Members and friends of the PRBA have been invited to a weekend of fun at Fishburn Airfield in County Durham.
Pilots, get your competition hats on and compete for the Autumn Gold Trophy. The task is set by whoever won the trophy the previous year.
We also have the 'Gassing' trophy in memory of Terry Chamberlain for you all to compete as a minimum distance task.
There aren't many balloon meets in this area and balloons are welcomed by the locals. So please come along and take advantage of a bargain weekend.
